Mark Huerth

Mark Huerth was born in South Gate, California. He has lived in Orcutt for 36 years. He has five children who were educated in the Orcutt Union School District and 10 grandchildren, seven have or will go to Orcutt schools.

He worked in Federal Law Enforcement for 22 years. He spent seven years on the Orcutt American Little League Board, one year serving as President. He was a board member for the Orcutt Children’s Arts Foundation (OCAF) for six years and a board member of Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum for four years. He has volunteered for the Santa Maria Boys and Girls Club for over 24 years. He recently served on the Santa Barbara County Grand Jury for 1 year and nine months.

A few of his accomplishments include Employee of the Year from the United States Penitentiary, Lompoc and Volunteer of the Year from the Boys and Girls Club of the Santa Maria Valley.
