Eric Melsheimer is CEO of Melfred Borzall, a Santa Maria company which designs, manufactures and sells underground construction tools.  Eric received a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University and an M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University. 

Both of Eric’s daughters attended OUSD schools, including OAK-8, Patterson Road, Orcutt Junior HS and Orcutt Academy High School.  Eric is currently board president of the Orcutt Children’s Art Foundation and is a member of the advisory boards of the Cal Poly Mechanical Engineering Department and of the Allan Hancock Machine and Manufacturing Technology Department.  Eric has been a part time instructor for Allan Hancock and is a Community Ambassador for the College.
